Catizen, a tap-to-earn and play-to-airdrop game on Telegram, has announced reaching 800,000 paying users within its first six months. With a total user base of 34 million, Catizen has secured the top revenue spot among Telegram apps.
Launched in early 2024, Catizen has quickly gained traction. The game has generated significant revenue, with each paying user contributing an average of $33. Catizen's success highlights its strong position within the Telegram ecosystem, supported by recent investments from notable players like The Open Platform.
PLUTO Studio, the publisher of Catizen, recently secured an undisclosed investment from The Open Platform, the largest developer group in the TON network. This investment comes as Catizen receives support from HashKey and Binance Labs, further boosting its position in the Web3 space.
HashKey Global’s involvement includes providing regulatory guidance and technical support, marking its entry into the TON ecosystem with Catizen as its first Web3 partner. This partnership aims to leverage TON's vast user base to address key challenges in user acquisition for Web3 projects.
Clicker games have been a focal point in 2024, with Catizen joining other notable successes like Hamster Kombat. As these games continue to gain popularity, the focus remains on creating substantial user engagement and revenue through innovative airdrops and game mechanics.
