Scroll, a zkRollup scaling solution for Ethereum, has announced a significant airdrop for its native token, SCR, which is set to debut on the Binance launchpool. The SCR token plays a crucial role in Scroll's mission to build scalable and secure infrastructure, facilitating real-world adoption through global distribution.
The Scroll ecosystem has outlined its plans for a strategic airdrop event as part of its token distribution approach. Out of a total supply of one billion SCR tokens, 15%, equivalent to 150 million tokens, is allocated for airdrop events. This allocation is divided into two phases: the first phase comprises 7% of the total supply, while the second phase includes 8%.
